Diploma in Architectural Technology

The Architectural Technology programme is designed to prepare students for technical roles within the building design and construction industry.

Students develop knowledge in key areas such as architectural design, building services, construction methods, building materials, and technical documentation. The programme also builds practical skills in the use of CAD and relevant 3D design software for producing drawings, plans, and project documents.

Through a combination of technical learning and practical application, students gain the competencies required to support the planning and development of building projects.

Upon completion, graduates will be prepared to work as architectural technicians and contribute to large and complex projects under the supervision of experienced architectural technicians, designers, or architects.

Diploma Admission Requirements

• To apply for a Diploma programme, applicants are required to provide the following documents and meet the relevant admission requirements:

Academic Documents

• High School Graduation or Completion Certificate.
• High School Certificate.
• Grade 12 / Final Year academic transcript or detailed results.
• Grade 10 / First Year of High School certificate and/or transcript.
• Grade 11 / Second Year of High School certificate and/or transcript.
• Applicants must meet the minimum academic grades required for their selected Diploma programme.
• Some programmes may require specific subjects at high school level, such as Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.

Personal Documents

• A clear copy of the passport with at least 18 months of validity.
• A recent **35 × 45 mm** passport-size photograph with a white background.

English Language Requirements

• A recognised English language qualification such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Cambridge English, or Linguaskill, depending on the university and programme requirements.
• A **Medium of Instruction (MOI) Letter** may be submitted as proof that the applicant's previous education was conducted in English.
