Foundation in Arts (Communication)

This programme provides students with a strong introduction to the key areas of communication and media, including Journalism, Broadcasting, Public Relations, Advertising, and Digital Media.

Students gain knowledge in communication theories, media production, and storytelling, while also developing practical communication skills that are essential for both academic and professional environments.

The programme helps students strengthen their ability to express ideas clearly, build confidence in communication, and develop a positive professional presence. Upon completion, students will be well prepared to continue their studies in a range of communication, media, and creative industry-related fields.

Foundation Admission Requirements

• To apply for a Foundation programme, applicants are required to provide the following documents and meet the relevant admission requirements:

Academic Documents

• High School Graduation or Completion Certificate.
• High School Certificate.
• Grade 12 / Final Year academic transcript or detailed results.
• Grade 10 / First Year of High School certificate and/or transcript.
• Grade 11 / Second Year of High School certificate and/or transcript.
• Applicants must meet the minimum academic grades required for their selected Foundation programme.
• Some Foundation programmes may require specific subjects at high school level, such as Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, depending on the selected academic pathway.

Personal Documents

• A clear copy of the passport with at least 18 months of validity.
• A recent **35 × 45 mm** passport-size photograph with a white background.

English Language Requirements

• A recognised English language qualification such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Cambridge English, or Linguaskill, depending on the university and programme requirements.
• A **Medium of Instruction (MOI) Letter** may be submitted as proof that the applicant's previous education was conducted in English.
