This programme is designed to equip students with:
A strong foundation in undergraduate engineering by integrating petroleum, gas, and exploration engineering to meet the growing demands of the oil and gas industry.
The ability to apply engineering principles in the design, development, and operation of systems used for locating, extracting, processing, and refining crude oil and natural gas. This includes drilling and mining systems, processing and refining facilities, storage infrastructure, transportation systems, as well as related safety and environmental systems.
Entry Requirements :
STPM
Minimum of 2 passes in STPM with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry, along with a Credit in Mathematics and Physics (or Chemistry) at SPM level or its equivalent.
A-Level
At least 2 passes (Grades A–D) in A-Level, including Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry.
UEC
Minimum of 5 Grade B’s in UEC, including Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry.
Matriculation / Foundation
Successful completion of a relevant Foundation programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.0, along with a Credit in Mathematics and Physics (or Chemistry) at SPM, O-Level, IGCSE, or equivalent.
